We like Empire a lot. Great selection, excellent way to get lots of veggies, pleasant service (on the spare side -- it IS a buffet), nice atmosphere when kids are absent.

if you're like me, you're not usually one to eat at buffets...but, empire is different. first, it's a chines buffet.....second, you actually have waiters....third, the food is great....i love the coconut shrimp. if you're into chinese ...?

Rip off. You got charged per plate you used...not per person. For instance, I got charged almost $15 for lunch (just myself). At East Buffet, it's $8.99 at the most. Advice: Do not use extra plates for your morsels. (discarded food). ...?

i'm going there today, so i'll find out for sure...but we've never been charged by the plate. it's usually $15 total for two people for lunch. And their food is really good. They even have a grill & sushi bar where they cook the food in ...?
